It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any phone carrier, any government agency, the North American Numbering Plan Administration or any people-search service. Names of agencies and companies appear only to point you to their official information.
Information, not advice
Everything here is general information about phone numbers and dialing. It is not legal, financial or technical advice, and it does not replace the written terms of your phone plan. Rules, rates and menu names change, and carriers differ from each other, so check your own plan before you act, especially where money is involved.
What a result means
The prefix reader reports facts that can be derived from the digits: area code, country or kind of service, region and time zone. It does not identify the owner, the carrier or the line type, and it does not know whether a number has been reported for abuse. A result is a hint and can be wrong or out of date, for instance when a code is new or has been reassigned. Do not use it as proof that a call is safe or unsafe.

We work to keep pages accurate and dated, but we give no warranty that they are complete or current. We are not responsible for charges, losses or damage that result from using the information. Links to other sites are for convenience, and we do not control their content.
Do Not Sell or Share
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. What we do keep is short: web server logs for about a week, and messages sent through the contact form. The privacy policy has the details.
